European Progressive Hard Rock Group HEADLESS Return With New Song/Video

European Progressive/Hard Rock Band HEADLESS is proud to announce the release of their new single and music video, “Weightless,” available on all streaming/download platforms or watch the video HERE https://youtu.be/DS4SRckWK7k

“Weightless” serves as the first track from the group’s forthcoming album, ‘Transitional Objects,’ to be released late summer 2025. The single. mastered by Ted Jensen (Dream Theater, Metallica),showcases HEADLESS’ signature sound, characterized by intricate guitar work, dynamic rhythms, and melodic vocals. The accompanying animated music video by Dime Stamenov (Sabaton, Uriah Heep, Saxon) visually captures the song’s themes whichresonates with the energy and emotion poured into it.

“This single delivers a brand-new level of complexity. It’s definitely a hyper-prog song with the rhythm section embroiling an incredibly detailed texture, at the edge of what is performable by a human being. At the same time the vocal melody is smooth and uplifting, with lyrics about the growing bond between a father and son,”explains guitarist Walter Cianciusi.

“The whole album is a no-frills heavy thing, 8 solid prog songs that represent the absolute peak of Headless’ career. This time we achieved a magic chemistry, an unexpected craftsmanship that will probably remain unpaired on future Headless releases.”

“Weightless” reflects the band’s evolution and offers a glimpse into what listeners can expect from ‘Transitional Objects’ offering something for fans of traditional Hard Rock, AOR or Progressive Rock/Metal.

Key about HEADLESS is the amazingly melodic and infectious vocal harmonies of Swedish singer Göran Edman whose experience since the ‘80s fronting numerous recordings from names like Yngwie Malmsteem John Norum, Vinnie Vincent, as well as the groups Madison, Swedish Erotica, Glory, Karmakanic and more. Appreciated and loved by those in the know, and underrated by everyone else it’s great to hear Göran return to the group for the new album.
