Some of you might have noticed a new face on the most recent band’s pictures….
We proudly announce that the guy holding the four strings is none other than Martin Helmantel (Elegy, 7 Miles To Pittsburgh), new Headless bassist!
Guitarists Walter Cianciusi and Dario Parente are both extremely thrilled about having such an experienced musician on board; Martin Helmantel shares their excitement: “I really look forward to working with these lads…I am very happy that they asked me to join!”

The band led by Göran Edman, after the highly acclaimed brand new single Risin’ Up has started recording the new album, due in early 2021 via Mighty Music.

At the same time HEADLESS has also signed with the booking agency Sakåda Music www.sakadamusic.com which includes the likes of Fabio Lione and Trick or Treat.
This heralds a long series of live shows for the new line-up in the near future.

Our brand new single Risin’ Up will be released on June 5th 2020 via Mighty Music.
Risin’ Up is a song about environmental awareness written and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic. The lyricist/singer Göran Edman (ex Official Yngwie Malmsteen) wanted to suggest an ethical perspective to the new generations, urging them to rise from the current dystopian scenarios. The song was mastered by Grammy Award winner Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound Studios.
