Headless are so enthusiastic about their opening slot for Don Airey in Brescia (Italy). Don is the man behind many heavy metal masterpieces: albums by Deep Purple and Rainbow, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest and Bruce Dickinson just to name a few.
Walter Cianciusi, guitarist and historical Headless member commented: “…to promote our latest studio album, Growing Apart, our producers wanted us to open for as many beloved legendary artists as possible and Don is definitely one of them. It’ll be exciting to take part in a show in which Don and Goran, our vocalist, former frontman of Yngwie Malmsteen and John Norum, share the same stage.”
Dario Parente, the other axeman of the band adds: “We grew up with so many records that Don recorded. After all what rocker doesn’t immediately recognize the intro to Mr. Crowley, the famous Ozzy song? We’re really psyched for this concert, and to be honest the whole “Touring Apart” is so exciting for us as it is giving us the opportunity to work with some of our musical idols and to open for artists that we have admired from many years.”
